1. Product Overview

The ZXY-ED8X10-2.0H is a small glue-sealed SMD audio isolation transformer built on an ED8 x 10 laminated core. Two matched windings give 1:1 galvanic isolation between a 600 ohm line port and a 400 ohm device port, with a flat response across the 300 Hz to 4 kHz band, for board-level use in audio, voice and communication equipment.

2. Features

• Turns ratio — 1-2 : 3-4 = 1:1, tolerance ±2%.
• DCR — 105 Ω ±15% on winding 1-2 and 105 Ω ±15% on winding 3-4.
• Inductance — 2.0 H min, measured in parallel at 250 Hz, 0.5 V.
• Impedance — 600 Ω on 1-2 with a 400 Ω load on 3-4, at 1 kHz, 0 dBm.
• Insertion loss — ≤ 2.3 dB max at 1 kHz, 0 dBm into a 400 Ω load.
• Frequency response — ±0.12 dB from 300 Hz to 4 kHz, referenced to 1 kHz.

In each case the transformer sits in the signal path, so the two sides of the circuit are isolated: the direct ground connection is removed, DC offsets cannot pass, and cable-borne interference is attenuated rather than added to the wanted signal.
