Product Advantages

● Removes ground-loop hum at its source. The built-in 1:1 audio isolation transformer breaks the direct electrical connection between the two devices while still passing the audio signal.

● Keeps the original stereo sound. Isolation is magnetic rather than electronic - no EQ curve, no noise gate, no added hiss.

● Fully passive - no power, no battery, no driver. The unit draws nothing from the source device or from the vehicle electrical system.

● Compact inline body that stays installed. A 59 x 20 x 18 mm molded housing with strain-relieved cable entries sits in line with the existing cable and disappears behind a dashboard or under a desk.

● Isolation transformer wound in-house by an ISO 9001 factory. The transformer stage is produced on the same lines as ZXY's audio transformer series rather than bought in as a commodity part.

Application

Isolation principle

A passive 1:1 audio isolation transformer transfers the audio signal magnetically across the isolation barrier.

Compatible equipment

Car stereos, phones, tablets, MP3 players, Bluetooth receivers, amplifiers, speakers, soundbars, mixers, and other devices.

Installation & operating conditions

Passive construction generates no heat and needs no ventilation, so the unit can run continuously in a vehicle cabin, a home listening room, an office desk or a portable rig.

Mechanical construction

Molded black housing with a metal-collar output jack and molded strain relief at both the housing entry and the plug.

Quality & Testing Assurance

ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing. Under a quality management system certified to GB/T 19001-2016 / ISO 9001:2015.

Transformer-level electrical verification. Every isolation transformer is measured for inductance, DC resistance and winding configuration against its released specification before it is built into the housing.

Insulation and dielectric withstand testing. Winding-to-winding and winding-to-core insulation is checked by dielectric withstand (hi-pot) testing on the wound transformer.

100% continuity and channel test on the finished unit. Left, right and ground continuity plus an open/short test are performed on every assembled isolator before packing.

Batch playback verification. Samples from each production batch are checked in a live source-amplifier chain to confirm that the hum is suppressed and that both channels come through cleanly with no audible distortion.

Material and RoHS compliance. Jack, cable and housing materials are controlled for RoHS compliance to meet European and North American import requirements.

Visual, mechanical and packing inspection. Jack shell and plating, molding finish, strain-relief bonding and cable entry are inspected before packing.
